Macintosh FreePPP Dial-up Phone Number Change

1. Click the Apple menu, go to Control Panels, and choose Free PPP Setup.

   

2. Click the arrow below the telephone icon so it's pointing down.

   
3. Click the Accounts tab.

4. Select tcworks.net (or whatever you may have named the profile that dials into The Computer Works), and click Edit.

   

5. Edit the contents of the Phone number field. Click here for a list of dialup numbers.

   (Please remember to place a 1 in front of the area code if it's different than the one you're calling from.)

   For later versions of FreePPP: at this point you'll have to click on the Dialup tab to edit the Phone number field.

   While you're in here make sure your username is entered as username@tcworks.net in the “User Name:” field.

   
6. Click OK.
7. Close the FreePPP Setup window.
