Using SMTP Authentication with Outlook Express 5 for Mac

  1. Click on the “Tools” menu.
  2. Click on “Accounts.”
  3. Highlight the account by clicking on it once, then click on “Edit.”
  4. Click the button reading “Click here for advanced sending options.”
  5. Click “SMTP server requires authentication.”

  6. If you are receiving mail through a tcworks.net account, click “Use same settings as receiving mail server.”

    If not, click “Log on Using” and fill in your tcworks.net Username and Password.
