Using SMTP Authentication with Thunderbird 1

  1. Click on the “Edit” menu.
  2. Click on “Account Settings.”
  3. Select “Outgoing Server (SMTP)” in the left hand pane.
  4. Enter “smtp.tcworks.net” in the “Server Name” field.
  5. Enter “587” in the “Port” number field.

  6. Put a check mark in the “Use name and password“ check box and enter your tcworks.net username in the “User Name” field.
